Recently diagnosed PAF, no treatment as on dialysis already for kidney failure. Anyone else have similar? Thanks in advance.

I have PAF and on Flecainide and Apixaban. Plus have small hole in the side of my heart between my heart and lungs didn't know I was born with it until 2020/2021. Which did make me laugh as had 3 major operations and 2 minor ones all with a dicky heart. I do miss heart beats . I had jaundice in 2017 caused by long term use of 2 tablets to help with my neurological condition. Left me hearing my heart beat in my left ear. I have occasional heart flutters and palpitations. But just relax until it's over .

Only found out what my disability I was born with in 2022 . Thankfully my neurologist had put me on Clonazepam which stopped the limb jerks and 4 seizures I had for 32 years within 2 weeks on the tablets . What my disability is it's rare and only because my neurologist had my whole genome genetically tested that I know. He has never had a patient with it nor his colleagues. Mind you my blood was sent away January 2020 because of covid they forgot to send the results . But better later than never .

Have you asked if you can have any heart medication as there should be something even with kidney failure and dialysis. As they can help you with your heart and take away the worry about your PAF .

More than likely paroxysmal atrial fibrillation - another good reason not to use unusual abbreviations. Paroxysmal A.Fib. would have been better.
