I have posted on this site several times over the years about my mystery palpitations that I get at night time when I am trying to sleep. I have had these every night for the past 6 years and despite every known test to man and investigations by a couple of different cardiologist, not to mention weird sleep studies, nothing had changed.
I must have gone through several thousand beta blockers and aspirin in the process, which by know I imagine that am probably immuned to anyway.
So, the latest and probably the last chapter in this sorry tale is that my cardiology team have concluded that after all the tests etc... my heart in in generally good shape and my heart health has no issues. ! So they have signed my off the program and won't be doing anything else. Wow....I didn't expect that !....but still palpitations havn't changed in fact they are getting stronger.
As a parting shot my consultant said that if things persist then that means that my heart palpitations are a symtom of something else rather than the root cause ......And that is a whole new can of worms.
Thanks for reading this.....good luck everyone on your own journey.
