Not sure what he has been doing in the last couple of years - but his belly has been getting bigger and bigger, to the point that it started to look ridiculous. I bet he has been on the booze and bad diet non-stop given his hectic schedule and life. Time to reset and prioritse health. Hope he gets better, regardless if he is your cup of tea or not.

The debt from all those years smoking 50 a day has come calling. Always thought for a man who lead a life like his he was doing very well and I suppose he still is if high blood pressure and needing a stent are the height of his issues at his age.

I wish him well and reiterate my point from the other day an ECG is not the best standard test for judging if you have a heart issue!! Please remember that people . Thank goodness he had the for thought to say “no I still feel ill please check again” !

no surprises there then, but I hope this serves as a warning about ignoring symptoms

if JC now starts speaking up for improved heart health initiatives (with a focus on enabling and preventing rather than treating) like he is speaking out for farming maybe something good will come of it

Jeremy gave up smoking after a health scare in 2017, when he was diagnosed with pneumonia while on holiday in Spain. A medical check-up revealed that his smoking had significantly affected his lungs, and he was told that he had to stop.

He's still led a very active life, what with becoming a farmer, setting up a pub, Who Wants to be Millionaire and other TV and journalistic work. And he's had some stress in dealing with the local council. I vaguely recall reading that there were several last-minute hitches in opening the pub.
