Was your heart in AF , breathless on and off ?
i had a echo that was fine I do have AF and a bNP of 485 but I get really breathless
No heart pain or swollen ankles
No symptoms at all, had apparent heartburn which led to shock, NSTEMI and 7 stents. Have not been free of chest pain since, 18 months.
sorry to here that
I’m very breathless and I thought that maybe a sign
I had shortness of breath post HA which cleared up when my cardiologist took me off ticaglor and replaced it with clopidogrel. I hope yours can be treated as easily.
cheers
Mine a strange one I had various episodes of AF and two of episodes of AF ended with 5 days in Hospital both times
Non persistent so I can’t have cardioversion and Amiodarine didn’t do much either
Had a echo done one mild MR problem tnat they are not concerned about low normal EF
But I get a period where for days I am breathing heavy trying to suck air in .
There sure it’s AF behind it but I’m not sure myself
I had no symptoms- just a NSTEMI revealed by a faint. Echo showed two clogged arteries, so I now have two stents.
I had an aching chest for 3 days.
hopefully they will get on top of my issue soon I just want to know what it is to be honest
Heart attack and cardiac arrest.
For my bypass and stents I had chest pains which turned out to be angina.
I had a pain inside my shoulder blade which turned out to be a heart attack, NSTEMI, no heart damage but now have 6 stents
I was due for a routine RA appointment when I got slight chest pains due to rushing cleaning cat vomit (sorry) in time for the uber. Everything was fine in 10 mins, no breathlessness even, but when I mentioned it to the nurse, they checked me in! ECG the works and insisted I had had a heart attack. Not knowing any better I landed up having stents soon after. In my personal opinion it was a bad choice for me. Besides being very painful and frightening, I felt the heart never recovered fully.
Knowing what I know 6 years later, maybe had I bothered to learn, I could have controlled my BP via breathing if it had been high so as not to get to the stage of chest pains, could have had garlic, ginger tea, dark choc, cocoa, nigella with honey, manuka honey, ACV, Rutin, magnesium, Vit D3 with MK7, cholesterol lowering foods, foods that might clear arteries etc etc lots of other things to naturally get my heart in shape ...if I was indeed at risk at all.
My RA meds contributed to a lot of issues so could have been related.
So my personal opinion is, depending on the blockage if its necessary to SAVE your life there is no question obviously.
But if its a prevention, then I would try everything else first if appropriate ofcourse.
My approach in hindsight would be to get checked for everything, then research on what current meds you take, what your body is telling you, are your symptoms side effects of meds or actual issues?
Change lifestyle, foods, no stress, exercise, supplements (if needed only) as they interfere with meds. Learn from people who are not afraid to speak the truth and not pharma driven...Then decide...
6 years later last year Sept. I did have a NSTEMI, my own doing for not taking seriously what I recommended above.
This time I was offered stents again or open heart surgery and refused.
Doing above NOW and several other things (related to detoxing from vaxxed people and EMF radiation) and do not feel my heart is weak or fragile any more...still have a long way to go. When I can walk a few miles I will know! Too cold now.
Btw, my palpitations, swollen knee ankles, anemia all turned out to be the new meds I was given last Sept! One was even discontinued due to side effects. Wow.
The biggest change was not running round like a headless chicken, not letting others stress me out, removed toxic people from my life, concentrated on what my body was telling me and (took a while to learn to do this)! Then months of research realised how bad some of my meds were! Watching Sanjay Gupta York Cardiologist videos for every symptom! Learning as much as I could...basically giving myself priority, testing his suggestions carefully and doing it risk free, even testing natural remedies, very very cautiously.
I am happy to take this risk rather than all the other risks that go with being hospitalised nowadays.
I am not a medical person, but this much I know that the docs cannot monitor you 24x7 so you have to learn how to do that yourself as much as possible before organs get too bad, with gadgets too and help yourself and help them understand you better too. Weigh the risks and benefits carefully depending on your priorities.
Popping pills is easy but its not curing, just treats symptoms. Stents do treat but still only temporarily. I believe, as with anything, if the root cause is not addressed its going to happen again so one is no better off in the long run.
Hope this gives some food for thought.
Good luck with whatever your decision is!
Kind regards
Rubina
I just had one episode of chest pain and diagnosed with angina aged 75. Had angiogram - RCD 70 and 90% blocked - 2 stents done privately due to Covid delays. Fine now.
