Do you have GTN spray. It might alleviate the pain and highlight whether the pain is heart related.

I have one but stupidly don't use it. Instead opting for the "let's see" approach!

can you remember what you were told to do , by your cardiac nurse or other medical in hospital, if you had symptoms?

You could get someone to phone 11 for you, if you are in the UK.

They probably needed the bed! You should have been given a GTN Spray if you've had a heart attack and stents fitted. You should also have been offered Cardiac Rehabilitation, where you have the support of a Cardiac Nurse (to monitor your blood pressure and heart rate and tweak any medications you are taking). You are also offered an invitation to attend a six week Cardiac Physiotherapy Programme (which is really good). Speak to your Doctor about it, or contact one of the Cardiac Nurses on here. I've contacted them a couple of times now and they are brilliant. Good luck.

Thank you xx

You can buy GTN Spray from the chemist. You do not need a prescription until you can sort something out. I think also you might be over doing it as this happens to me also. ❤🤗

thanks for letting me know I still think I can do the things I used to but my body says no which is hard xx

If you have a smartwatch, monitor you HR or ECG if possible? Check your bp - is it in line with expectations?

Also, is the pain getting worse? Is it radiating to other parts like neck/arm? Does it get worse if you are moving? Try to get a picture and if you are feeling worse go to a&e.

They will probably check your bloods for any signs of an event - if negative they will discharge you, but good to have something more serious ruled out.

Not what you're looking for?
