Hi, for those of you who supported me with sound advice (thanks so much) l thought l would share with you the outcome of my abnormal routine bowel screening. l finally had a phone call to have a Colonoscopy but l did not want any invasive procedure if it wasn't needed so l asked for a CT of the bowel which they kindly agreed to. The results were all clear which was a massive relief, l am on warfarin and was worried if they removed anything l could bleed but obviously it wasn't necessary. The waiting caused me great anxiety because my half Sister has just had bowel cancer and now has a stoma so l am the lucky one. Thanks to all for your support and inquiries. Sue x

Hi Sue
Well done, that's great news. It must be a massive relief, You need to start looking at holidays now 😎
Best wishes Russell
Hi Russell, thanks for your reply. l lost my Kefalonia holiday but did get a refund. l am looking at holidays for next year but couldn't go this summer because l am too fat after lockdown. Greenpeace would drag my Husband and l into the sea shouting "there they blow". The massive diet starts today!!! Take care, Sue.
Hi Sue
Both of my holidays have gone down, got the money back for the May holiday and have moved the September one to end of August 2021 - desperately missing my fix of Greece - now looking forward to next year!
Keep well, Russell
Here's to 2021 l want to go back to Lassi in Kefalonia, and l have also found a nice place in Zante called Alykes. We hope to visit both, l still remember that you love Bella Vista apartments in Parga. Next year will be our Greek year. "YAMMAS" take care, Sue.
I went to Zante many years ago, the airport had just had an upgrade, we're all standing there in front of the carousel waiting for it to start up and begin delivering our cases, when someone beeps a horn - cases outside on trolleys - the money ran out before they'd finished the upgrade - understand they had it working 2 years later. I liked Greece best when it was haphazard! Alykes was just a beech and 1 bar on it, which was more of a cafe with a few tables outside. Thinking about Kefalonia next year, as well as Parga.
