Thanks for all your messages of support from my post about my partners surgery yesterday.Unfortunately he had an allergic reaction to one of the anaesthetics so op was stopped.
We now have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for the Allergen team to determine what caused the reaction, they obviously have to be sure through various blood tests and cultures so it doesn't happen again. Obviously we're gutted but his safety is priority, had they continued with op or he'd had a delayed reaction it would have been fatal. The nightmare continues....

Really sorry to hear that. At least now they can determine which one caused the reaction to avoid problems later on. Wishing you the best for next time. 💕
Sometimes the hardest part is waiting or not knowing. At this stage you are waiting again, and have extra 'not knowing' on top. It is also harder, in a way, worrying about your loved one than when it is yourself. We feel for you and hope this time goes quickly and all goes well the next time xxx
sorry to hear this and it must be so stressful for you both. I do hope they resolve things quickly and your partners surgery goes ahead. Wishing you both all the very best.
Thankfully they where on the ball and stopped the operation. And making sure to find out why it happened and what is safe to use on him . Once they make sure he can have his op safety he will have it done. The team he is under are taking the very best care of him and that's what is important. I know it's horrible having to wait but it's for the best . Once he's safely had his operation and recovered you will have a new man on your hands .
