Hi all, new on here. My daughter was born with a complete avsd, fixed with surgery at 15 months old, which left a mild leak on her mitral valve. She has done amazing for years with no medication. Recently she became symptomatic and has just been diagnosed with a leak on her aortic valve and has just started on lisinopril. He life has changed dramatically in such a short space of time. Just wondering if there is anyone on here with any kind of similar story? I’m finding it all very overwhelming, and feel a little lost. Would be good to speak with people who can share their experiences.
