Went doctors and they sent me straight to A&E and hopefully I won't be waiting around for hours on end, the emergency doctor I spoke with said with my history and the way I have been feeling I shouldn't be waiting around all day x

A&E on my way
Oh my word, thinking of you & hope you get seen fast 🫂 xx
Good luck! I was very impressed with the way that I was treated during my two visits to A & E this year - with kindness and concern. I was lucky with how long I had to wait, and on the first occasion was there for just three hours, during which I had an ECG and comprehensive blood tests and results. On the second occasion I was there a little longer, but the doctor picked up a Vitamin D deficiency that no-one (including me) had suspected was contributing to my problem.
Neither trip would have been necessary had the Haematology department been able to process my case more quickly.
Thank you x I've already had ecg and been booked in hope I'm not waiting too long
Hope your experience was better than mine this week. Had stent just over 2 weeks ago but had chest pain Tuesday night which spray didn't help. Got admitted pretty quick and had e.c.t and blood test. Things went downhiil.a bit after that. Had another e.c..g. which doctor said shows dynamic changes ( whatever that meant) so another blood test ( which turned out to be no good) I suspect as he took it through cannula instead of elsewhere. Ended up having to stay all night. Eventually had bloodtaken at 6 next morning which he took 3 attempts to get and blew the vein in my left wrist which came up like a ballon.chest x ray and another e.c.g. Eventually consultant came round at 10 and said blood test and e.c.t ok so could go.
If its heart and lung problems you will be seen ASAP!
Its broken bones where you wait ages!
I waited in ambulance outside a&e for nearly 6 hours just to get into a&e while waiting had another episode of chest pains ambulance crew gave me two lots of morphine. Eventually got into a&e to be told I had had a mild heart attack, was it the pains in ambulance that caused mild heart attack or was it when I had pains at home ,who knows. Finally got put on AMU ward at 11pm (pains started 8am) where I had another event of pains.I had a heart attack and stent previously fitted August 2022 Takosubo Syndrome October 2022 second heart attack July 2023 November 2023 diagnosed with Prinzmental angina now this mild heart attack July 2024. Sorry about long post but just thought people should know that some people do have to wait long time to get seen in a&e these days unfortunately with heart related problems. I've had episodes since but don't tend to go to a&e anymore as have kind of given up on that at the moment. Thank you for reading.
hope you are seen quickly, I’m in hospital at the mo and was dealt with pretty quickly by A&E staff xx
Just a little update had ecgs, one showed up something odd so they put me on cardiac monitor, I'm in a bed in majors at A&E and I've had chest Xray just waiting for cardiologist to see me x
Get well as soon Yumz your such an inspiration.👐🙏♥️

Hope you're alright. I was in A&E with my Mum yesterday and it took ages. When I was in with my brother it was super quick. So hit and miss.I work in a hospital so in part ger frustrated when I see staff being slow but equally know how awful it can be for staff at times.
Hopefully they get you feeling better and you're comfy enough while waiting🤞
I was admitted xx
Hope you're alright , I've been in & out of hospital the last 3 months , even making the decision to go to a&e is hard xxx
