So...after feeling very unwell on Monday with angina, nausea and shaking i finally gave in and came to a+e this morn. Expected the usual bloods, ecg and home but i get to stay and put my feet up instead🙈Cardiologist said i was a conundrum as i had really good cholesterol when i had my heart attack 2 years ago(100% blockage in lad) even given the family history so he wants to run some tests to see whats going on.

In August last year i was referred for stress test with an 18 month waiting list so on the upside it looks like im getting it tomorrow. Looking forward to that one!

Thank you. Im happy enough that they're going to try to get to the bottom of it as angina has been getting more frequent lately. X

They aren't sure. I had a massive heart attack nearly 2 years ago and recovered very well but since the summer have been getting more angina so they kept me in to do some tests and try to figure out why🤔

Hope things can be resolved - not fun being backwards and forwards to A and E. Glad cardiology is taking it seriously and investigating. Hope all goes well with the stress test.

I hope these tests determine the cause of your HA. I was similarly a conundrum and had tests and it was found that I had a high Homocysteine level. This means I have a higher risk than normal of forming blood clots, which in combination with stress kick started my heart journey. Bizarrely it is easily controlled with Vitamin B.... the stress was transitory and I now avoid it as much as possible.

I hope all goes well with the stress test.

Sounds like a good call (given your history) to keep you in and do some tests. Hope they prove useful and you get to rest and recuperate. 🌸

enjoy putting your feet up for a bit, sometimes it is more helpful than a bucketload of medication

i hope they soon come up with some answers which lead to some help with you ongoing angina and that you will soon be able to get back to living your life
