I posted on here about my concerns over this. Had it done on Monday. Although perhaps the best day out, it certainly wasn't bad. Had a really nice team in the lab, and with a good dose of sedative was able to watch the procedure on a big screen, so interested when the x ray blocked my view I had to be reminded not to move as I had wires in my heart. So after months of unnecessary stress, and one stent later a day in hospital, again wonderful care, a couple of before and after pictures I can start feeling better. Thanks to all who replied to my post.

your so lucky. I suffer from pad. I was due to have surgery two years ago on arteries feeding down to my legs and hips. With one week to go Syrgein advised it was too risky and op cancelled Now live with it. Not pleasant. So far no ulcerations but in constant pain. Walking is so painful. I suppose at 83 years of age I’ve had a good innings 🙏🙏

Great news, glad it went so well. Don't be surprised at the amount of bruising you may get. Catches a few of us out! Onwards & upwards.

Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as you feared . I know when my brother had 2 stents in his heart he said he felt he could run a marathon after snails had been passing him before the procedure. He's funny my brother . Just becare what you do and take good care of yourself.

Just the thought of this procedure turns many people's stomachs, but the teams are well aware of that and take you through it carefully.

My main memory, which I think was real not a result of the sedative, was that the table moved, to feed the insertion rather than relying on how steady the doctor's hands were.
