pain on left side and armpit

Hi

I’ve been on platform before as I had HA in the LAD in December last year. I’ve finished cardiac rehabilitation successfully but I am experiencing a tenderness really on the left side under my breast bone and some pain and some tenderness under my air pit. Is this something to be concerned about or could there be other reasons for this?

I honestly don’t know whether I should get this checked out or not?

thanks in advance I think I still have health anxiety and don’t want the keep going back to GP if this could be explained as something else.

Hi Juliestev,

Any new chest pain should be investigated, especially now that you do have a history of heart problems. It could be cardiac, or it could not be. It is safer to have it checked out. Either contact your GP tomorrow, or head down to the emergency room if you feel the pain is worrisome. Alternatively, call 111 and hopefully they can advise further. Please do not leave it unchecked.
