Came of Bisoprolol low doseage 6 weeks ago had a 24 hr heart monitor test while on it , came off it because it was causing to much problems ( low pressure) test said it noticed things but nothing has really changed since 2018 when first diagnosed with At Fib. This week kept feeling strange sensations in chest and slight pain down side and sometimes shortness of breath. While waiting in gp,s waiting room had sensation in chest told gp this and he managed to pick up the difference in the beating , so now he, s told me to go back on bisoprolol low doseage 0.65 start taking it straight away.Got to go for some ECG tests tomorrow morning at the surgery, doing my head in ,back to square one. Messing up my work schedule !

Hello :-)

Sorry to read this but glad you were at the Doctors so they could pick it up as it happened

I never even knew they did such a low dose as 0.65 so it is just a very baby dose so try not to worry

I know you said the ECG is going to mess your work schedule up but think of it like this you need your health to be able to work so you have to get this sorted first and once it is hopefully your schedule won't get messed up again :-)

Let us know how you get on :-) x

Hello :-)

Right I thought it might be I hope you manage to cut them ok I have been asked to do that before and found it very difficult even though you can get a pill cutter if needed

Look forward to hearing how you get on :-) x

I found Bisoprolol to be a great help! I'm on it 1.25mg/daily and as aresult have stopped other BP lowering tablet. Maybe your other meds could be the culprits? They could also be contributing to lowering your BP further? What does your GP say!

The only other meds I,m on are eye drops for glaucoma, had ecg tests this morning, at local surgery, gp saw them said it was okay but have to seem him next week for review have to keep on low dose of bisoprolol till then ,noticed one or two strange beats in chest when I got home tonight, put that down to being a bit angry from driving back home.
