As part of a regular week, I do walking, running, cycling, diy, gardening, golf and swimming and would like to ensure I do the required NHS guidelines for weekly exercise (150 minutes of moderate exercise etc etc).
I don’t want to individually monitor heart rate each time I do an activity, I’d like the tracker to say that I’d reached the weekly goal.
It does not seem clear from the descriptions that this is on offer?
Does anyone have any experience of wearables to comment?
Thanks

I did have a heart rate monitor watch, but it's now in the drawer unused. However I occasionally use the Step Tracker app on my phone to find out how far I have walked if I haven't been in the area, but that's it, it's occasional. For me the NHS guideline is just that, a guideline, to basically get people moving about, so in my view if you adjust your activities to match your own capabilities and meet the spirit of what the guideline states, and in some way enjoy what you are doing, and not feel it is a burden, that's all that matters. In your case you sound like you have a very active, varied and fulfilling exercise regime, and so if you can achieve somewhere around the two and one half total per week, if it were me, I would be more than happy without worrying about comprehensively tracking it.
Hi, I have a Fitbit smart watch that gives many useful hourly, daily and weekly stats including progress towards the weekly 150 minutes. Its easiest to use in conjunction with the Fitbit app on your phone . It gives details of steps, heart rate, breathing rate, SP02 levels, sleep quality and much more so all very useful.
I brought a samsung 6 watch tracks my pace ,distance heart race when im out walking ,in the pool or when im on the bike , get my buds on with music then every mile will cut in over the music and tells me .i walk 5 mile in the evening ,6 mile ride in morning , weights every other day and pool every other day records the lot .
It sounds like you are smashing the NHS guidelines. I wear a Fitbit and can recommend that for monitoring different exercises, including swimming. I also get an email to show my weekly progress.
I wear a Samsung 6 watch , but purely to measure distances covered when walking or cycling , rowing times, weight lifting times.
I probaly do around 300 to 360 minutes of dedicated physical excercise activity a week.
The heart rate element ( 7 months on from my heart attack) I don't pay attention to as you kind of know when you are exerting yourself. I did in the early stages of rehabilitation but not now.
Hi I wear a polar ignite 2 which gives me my heart rate at all times. It monitors my sleep my exercise my steps. When excercising you can select what excercise your doing and it will measure heart rate highest lowest AVG what speed you was running at etc. it also gives you a total amount of hours you have exercised for the week.
