I have to have one of my leads replaced in my dual pacemaker and I am very worried, had pacemaker 2 years and that has also got to be replaced. I’m 68 with a myriad of health problems including brain seizures, bleeds on brain, copd. Anyone had a lead replacement any information regarding procedure. 1st pacemaker lasted 8 years. Thanks

Hi Sheilacm,

I’m sorry I have no advice to offer on this front however, do give the BHF cardiac nurses a call and they may be able to help you further. They are mostly likely closed tomorrow due to the Easter bank holiday, but should be resuming as normal from Tuesday, 9-5pm. I have linked the number below.

Take care.
