My last post I was still getting pre procedure symptoms , left shoulder/arm ache , nausea, lightheaded etc
I have since seen my cardiologist and he mentioned the ballon procedure could have failed(I had a stent fitted also)
I am due to have another treadmill stress test and echocardiogram this evening which will hopefully show something as I can’t go on like this , everyday is a struggle and can’t function in normal daily tasks without feeling dreadful
Has anyone else had this happen to them

I’m not sure if he has considered either of them, I will ask the question . Could they cause these sort of symptoms? Cardiac rehab have suspended my course until I have had the tests done
The symptoms mirror exactly how I was feeling before I had my first stent in 2022 which I was constantly told it was just anxiety until I paid for the CT angiogram which identified an 85% blockage in my LAD
my last procedure was in jan this year where another stent and ballooning was performed
Microvascular angina can lead to chest pain and breathlessness on exertion. It's more common in women around the menopause.
Vasospastic angina tends to lead to chest pain at rest, especially in the night.
Research has shown that women's symptoms of heart disease are often dismissed and underplayed by healthcare professionals.
There is an unconscious bias, angina becomes anxiety, heart attacks become panic attacks.
I have lived with vasospastic angina for over 11 years. I was originally told I couldn't have a heart attack or angina because I was too young and low risk because I was a woman!
Here's the BHF information about microvascular and vasospastic angina.
I hope you don't have to wait too long.My husband had signs of ischaemia on his stress test just before Christmas. He had an angiogram and another stent a few weeks later.
