I experienced slight breathlessness upon taking "Bisoprolol" for the first time, I stopped taking this as I felt uncomfortable with that side effect and I am waiting to speak to my doctor, I see on this forum that its not an unheard of reaction.

It is not normally recommended to stop medication without first speaking with your prescribing health professional likely your GP. But if you can't arrange an appointment with your GP in the very near future I suggest you try 111, and they should be able to advise, although I have not had very good experiences with them, but you might find different.

I too haven't had a great deal of success with 111, I can speak to my cardiac department on Monday, thanks.
