That's brilliant News Gaz! I really hope they get you an appointment so they can examine your heart properly! πŸ₯° If you have to go back to work Gaz, ask for more breaks, like every 2 hours so you could sit down and rest for 15 mins!

Well looked at a 2 bedroom flat today but there isn't much storage as such and I wouldn't know where to keep my push bike either! It felt cramped and lots of doors to get to the first floor flat! And its Band B Council Tax! Should be Council Tax A really! Strange! πŸ€”

Amenities close by are great! Just not sure about it!

Wished I didn't have this problem with leaving my home here Gaz 🫣

Anyway had a very long day today! Just hang in there Gaz okay πŸ†—πŸ‘πŸ™

Hi thank you Snowdrops_17 ,I will ask for more breaks when I go back to work, I did have a phone call in January from the work health doctor saying I need to take more breaks because my legs swelling up, As you say I need checking over to see what's up, It is a stressful time for you looking for a place especially as you like living where you are , Thanks again

Thanks Gaz πŸ™ But have those breaks at work if you can have them please Gaz until you know what's wrong!

After my shifts when working my legs ached! Also the heat in summer, warmth in the restaurant kitchen affected me partly, so I had to go outside backdoor to get air or sit down for a couple of minutes!

It's sad that we are so much under pressure in our lives to earn finances to keep a roof over our heads! πŸ‘πŸ™

My lower legs are really swelling up bad over the last 3 days even tried sleeping with them resting on a cardboard box in bed last night to see if that would work, They are hot as well and feel more out of breath, Doctor won't look at my medication till I have seen cardiology,

Hi Gaz

Is your GP aware that your legs are swelling, you're becoming more breathless & your legs are feeling hot? I'm definitely not diagnosing but it does sound like you could have an infection or you could be retaining fluid in which case you'll need a diuretic or an adjustment to your dosage if you're already taking one.

I would suggest you phone nhs111 for advice. Good luck

Thanks for replying, I have sent the doctor's picture's of my legs swelling up about a month ago , Told the doctor the Bendroflumethiazide tablets used to make wee a lot in the morning put about for 14 month's they have not done so, Also told doctor last week about it said they will not look at reviewing my medication till I have seen cardiology also mentioned problem before.

That looks painful. A lot of GP's have little understanding of heart issues, can I ask what your heart condition is? When you press your legs do they stay indented like this?

If this a recent thing that's been happening & isn't improving I would phone nhs111 for advice as you could be retaining fluid which could compromise your health, at the very least they will get a clinician to speak to you. When my husband's legs start swelling his nurse immediately asks about his breathing & if his legs feel hot, they always increase his diuretic until the swelling goes down.Good luck. Would be interested to know how you get on
