I have had atrial fibrillation for many years and have a pacemaker. My cardiologist has put my name down for Ablate and Pace procedure. Has anyone had benefits for having this done, and is it painful

Hello :-)

I am sorry no one seems to have replied but I am sure someone may have had this done before

You could always try and talk with the BHF Nurses who are very good they maybe able to answer some of your questions

Good Luck and let us know how you get on :-) x

If you go onto the Atrial Fibrillation Association...AFA...on Health Unlocked you will find many who have had Pace/Ablate and will be able to answer your questions. The general consensus seems to be that it has changed lives for the better. ( it's looking likely that I may have to have this myself in the near future....)
