Clopidogrel
your doc has changed you to Clop for a good reason, whatever that reason may be. My husband is on Clop and yes he bruises easily and yes, if he scratches himself on a bramble then he bleeds well.
Anything you put into your body, whether it’s medication or water or food, is going to have some effect on you.
Ask you GP it can't hurt.
I get on very well with Clopidogrel but after a couple of stents they changed it. I managed 6 months, not the year they suggested and spoke to my GP who changed me back.
Sure, you can ask your GP to change you back, but also ask him/her why they made the change in the first place. I've been on Clopidogrel for seven months and lead a very vigorous life, with countryside walks and environmental work, so perhaps I'm more at risk than most. I have picked up the odd light bruise, which doesn't worry me. I'm more concerned about cuts, which can take longer to stop bleeding. In fact this morning I nicked my face when shaving with a new blade and it took an hour for it to stop oozing blood.
I am on clop and aspirin and have been now for 8yrs with no problems. Yes, I bruise very easily and it doesn't look great 😂 but I'm used to it now. A small cut or scratch bleeds like fury, but it does stop. In answer to your question, no problem with the 2 together.
