Holt monitor ventricular standstill

Hi All

I had a holter monitor for 24 hours end of December and found this test result on my NHS app

Episodes of AV Block type 11 but also ventricular standstill with pauses up to 7.13 secs.

I have a phone call to my GP next week but a bit concerned about these pauses can anyone advise me please ?

Hi Gladys,

I’m sorry your results haven’t been explained to you yet, and I completely understand trying to get some reassurance before the appointment as sometimes these appointments can be far away. I don’t have any advice to offer however, please find the BHF cardiac helpline number below. They have trained cardiac nurses that maybe able to explain some of the above in your question.

Opening times are Monday to Friday, 9-5pm.

Many thanks for your advice. I am now booked for an urgent echocardiogram and been listed for a urgent pace maker.

Just found out had 5 ventricular pauses up to 7.13 seconds in 24 hours with no symptom's.

Has anyone else experienced this please and is a pace maker the best treatment
