looking to see if swollen hand is a side effect of sofalol. Currently on 2 x 40mg of Sofalol and notice my right hand and fingers are swollen . To the extent of difficulty making a fist. It returns to normal throughout the day. No other body parts swollen . Also pinky finger is constantly turning blue with the cold and requires to be heated up by hot water.
I am going to contact GP regarding the resting BPM 45, but just wanted to make a list instead of constantly contacting them with questions on meds.

I am not on this medication but read your post and wondered if you have been able to see the Doctor and if they have been able to tell you what is the cause of this x
Thanks for your response. I am fortunate my GP practice still has daily appointments availability. The GP believe the swollen hand is more of issue with the way I sleep and more than likely I trap the hand under myself and cause the swelling. As he said he would be more concerned if other parts of body were also swollen like legs and ankles and it stayed swollen.
The low bpm is also a common side effect of Sofalol, but he said I did not start with a low bpm and once I am up and moving around I fall back into the normal range.
He will be keeping a watch on it to ensure no discomfort or breathing issues are noted. All positive.
