Hi and hope everyone is doing okay haven't posted in a while, the last week or so I have been getting central left sided chest pain with very little exertion even walking from the livingroom to kitchen or going upstairs to the bathroom this happens on most short trips occasionally with left arm and jaw pains and sometimes a bit breathless I take my gtn and it does help but always seems to comes back I know I should probably contact the doctor as the wife likes to tell me, I have coronary artery disease and chronic stable angina and a recent diagnosis of non alcoholic fatty liver and prediabetic you just get a bit ground down and don't want to waste people's time but getting a little concerned as it doesn't seem to be going away.

You should be seeking an urgent consultation with your GP at the very least. Or if it gets unexpectedly worse, get yourself to A&E or call 999. You won't be wasting people's time. That's what the NHS is for, especially if you could have a potentially life threatening condition.

I agree with Lowerfield-no-more that you should seek medical advice urgently, especially as the pains are radiating out from the heart into other parts of your body. If you keep getting such pains, if it is just angina, then it is no longer the Stable kind, or it could be heart attack symptoms. If you are not too bad then you could at least phone 111, and they could tell from your symptoms whether you need an ambulance to be called. \Are you having other symptoms? If so, write them down and inform the 111 Team's staff.

People go to A&E with a stubbed toe. You are clearly having heart problems. Go and get seen, don't wait until its a dire emergency. GO!

You will not be wasting anybody's time, go to a and e, ring 111 or at the very least contact your GP

HiPlease can you either phone 111 or go straight to A& E. Don't take any chances with your heart or it could end up being too late. I never understand people who think.they are wasting someone's time? That is their job!! You are not wasting anyone's time. Please get yourself checked out.

hi

I just consulted yesterday with my cardiologist yesterday and brought to his attention pains that have been alternating between my left and right chest sides. He has signed me in for a CT scan. It’s important to let the professionals know! As others, I strongly advise following up with your GP.

Best wishes

You are having a hard time, I (and all your readers) will be sorry and empathise. Do take advice from your GP asap, and try to cheer up. Notoriously inevitable anxiety about cardiac problems only exaerbated them - while also making you miserable. Best of luck , and warm wishes
