DCM and HEART FAILURE

Hi

I have DCM and had a CRT-CRT-P fitted in 2018 . I try to exercise and eat healthy . I moved to Spain to get out of the cold damp Winters . It does help . I take medication . I feel well a lot of the time but seem to have dips where I am so tired . The hospital here seem to not really take much notice and I miss the lovely support I had in the UK . I get scared and worry at times about the future and what it holds .

Hope the weather is treating you well out there. The weather is a big factor for heart health. I notice more pains and struggles with my heart failure in wet and cold weather's. I also feel it more in the heat too so have to be careful. How is the heart failure looking?

Mine is apparently stable at 30-35% ef rate. Get symptoms of pains each day which is worrying me but they say things look stable. On entresto, Dapagliflozin, betas and water tablets. Hopefully my heart improves. At least you have the lovely sunshine 🌞. All the best. X

Not enough attention is paid to weather. Low or high temperatures. High Humidity. Low cloud/fog. Prolonged rain. Many things can affect us. We can control high humidity at home especially in bedrooms but not in the wider world.
