propranolol to Diltiazen

good evening everyone, please can I ask has anyone switched from propranolol to Diltiazen and did it go smoothly? I’m changing meds as beta blockers are making me feel unable to excercise ! Doctor said I don’t need to gradually stop the propranolol just switch them to Diltiazen but I’m feeling really anxious in case my bp rockets or heartbeat goes crazy ! Anyone done the switch over and was it ok Thankyou 😍

I switched from sotalol to Tildiem 300 (diltiazem) with no break and it works fine for me. My bp & hr are better controlled now and the only side effect I notice is constipation.

Thanks for your reply Cat04 so pleased it went smoothly for you I’m picking the Diltiazen up tomorrow so hoping to see results in a few days and stop being a walking zombie !!!! Happy Christmas to you 😍
