Hi , from my experience pre heart attack and training with a heart rate monitor I would say yes . If you have an illness and your body is fighting it , heart rate can increase . When I was running & cycling with clubs the coaches always told us to look at changes in our normal resting heart rates , if there was an average increase in 10 beats in resting HR then it could mean the body fighting something off and we were not to do hard training sessions and monitor for changes /illness.
General phrase “ above the neck ( a head cold ) what the heck , on the chest , give it a rest .
Are you taking any medication for the sinus infection ? I’ve read that stand-alone decongestants and multi-symptom cold medications containing a decongestant have warnings on the label for people with high blood pressure and heart disease. All the best Wizza.
hello Wizza! Thanks a lot for the information but I notice now regarding the nasal spray. I have to be careful now as I used to have sinus issue I need to manage as well 🫡. It is really weird nowadays things that seems so simple to treat before has so many limitations.
Thanks again!
