hi has anyone experienced blood/oxygen not going straight to lung but goin from vein/ arteries think dr said both gases (blood) mixing

it might help you to understand this if you do a bit of reading about the heart-lung circulation system as it is difficult to explain this without diagrams! this might be a good place to start: bhf.org.uk/informationsuppo...

this can happen in people with what used to be called "hole in the heart" and other similar issues (see congenital heart conditions)- many people live their whole lives with this without knowing - in some people it is discovered later in life, there are treatments - ask you doctor to explain what is happening in your case
