Hi everyone thanks again for all your help and suggestions. I went to the doctors and they agreed it's postural hypotension and it's making my blood pressure go low when I'm standing up they aren't sure what's causing this but think it could be my heart medication and they want to check my iron levels to make sure it's not that making me feel dizzy, light headed and faint. He said my heart was a bit irregular but that's nothing new and he said my heart rate was a bit on the fast side ( normal is 60-100 mine was 98 which is bit high apparently). Im having blood test soon, glad I went and stuck to my gut that something was wrong and not phycological 🤪. They suggest that I talk witu St barts about changing medication incase that's affecting my blood pressure which apparently verapamil lowers blood pressure so the heart dosent have to work so hard wasn't even aware of that 🤣.Thanks again everyone have a good day.

Hi Went to the drs on the same day lol 😁 mine heart rate is still too high at 95 thing is,it permanently fluxuates, just checked it just now and it was 38

Glad you got sorted! I have had low iron in the past which also can make me dizzy when standing up, I checked with blood pressure once when I was feeling like that and it was quite low which I was surprised about!

I feel like anxiety is a result and often cause of so many symptoms, if you aren’t getting symptoms because of anxiety, then symptoms you get then cause anxiety! Can’t win 😅

My pulse with the ECG at the cardiology appointment was 119 last week, I don’t think it’s ever been below 100 at appointments!

Yes, Verapamil lowers blood pressure as I take it myself. It should also state it in the patient leaflet. I’ve been lucky that I’ve never suffered with that side effect from Verapamil. I hope the GP or St Barts can review your meds and provide an alternative x

Yumz I have a bit similar story. However I did not feel right. Well not been right for a few month, or not right since finding out I have a congenital heart problem. Anyway you may have read one of my threads that a few months back I had my 3 month blood check which I religiously organise and my potassium was high so I halved my spironolactone from 25mg to 12.5mg and my potassium came down after a week . Any way I trundle along as you do and I had my 3 month blood test and everything not too bad, but I still feel yuck and so we had the full blood test and vitamins and they came back OK. But the one test which for some reason had changed was creatinine. Within a month it had gone from 100 to 124. That then changes the gfr for kidney function so now the doctor says stop spironolactone re test in 2 weeks. The lisinopril is the main one to keep taking. Bit like you, you go around and around.
