24 hr BP monitor
No tips other than the last time I had that it drove me nuts. So much so I took it off in the middle of the night. Good luck
I've only ever had one and it's really random when it decides to take your blood pressure kept waking me up so maybe take a sleeping tablet if you plan on getting any sleep x ❤️
It's a bit of a pain, especially at night, but it's only one day.Get an early night the day before.
Try and forget you are wearing it (difficult, I know). Just go about your day as you would normally.
The last one I wore tested BP every hour which is disturbing at night so don’t be too concerned if you have broken sleep whilst wearing it!
Please, just don't worry about it. When I had mine on during the day, it just did it's own thing. Just don't plan anything involving a lot of water etc. I managed to sleep ok with it along side me. I seem to remember stuffing it under the pillow.Good luck,
Henry
Pain in the backside, not litetally, but have to have BP done on right arm. Cuffs never fit properly. This one kept slipping down, had to refix it a couple of times. Beeped just before it inflated all through the night. Couldn't wait to take the damn thing off . Then when they checked the readings the hospital had the cheek to tell me that they were rather high. Grrr!😠 Don't worry if will be fine.😊
Be prepared for a sleepless night, but otherwise fine.
Be prepared for broken sleep. It will certainly wake you every time it clicks into life. I found it actually put my BP up because every time it started to inflate I got really anxious that my BP would rise which of course it did. I hated it. Luckily my GP knew the resu lts were not my normal so he then asked me to do it myself every few hours
