Today I had first session of going back to basics with rehab at the local hospital. This is to help my get my confidence back after my recent setback. All went well and whilst it's early days I already feel more positive than I have for a couple of months. Initially booked in for four sessions and hopefully I'll be back on phase 4 rehab soon. They are so lovely up at the hospital although whilst it was lovely seeing them again ut could have been in better circumstances ๐.Cardiologist appt next Monday so hopefully some answers on what actually happened recently, i.e. do/did i have angina or indeed another nstemi ๐

Rehab, the Reboot
Great news , I'm sure you will get your confidence back again , especially once you know the test results. Many people hit the odd set back like this , and go through anxiety when it happens but those hurdles shrink with help and those moments pass.
I sometimes feel like a bouncy ball going back and forth with my various health problems.
I have had a pretty miserable Summer with my holidays cancelled , an abscess and other injuries all making my heart act up like a Diva.
But like a bouncy ball , I have learnt I can bounce back.
For example , I felt very nervous about getting out and about again after my six week blip but I've managed a walk a day in the last few days , and even did a little stroll on my own this afternoon.
Take it at a pace inside your the comfort zone of your body , recovery is a long walk rather than a sprint.
Slow as you go helps you build by strength , not just physically but mentally. You will get there , hugs , Bee
Thanks for that Bee. It does feel like a bit of a rollercoaster at times and like you I've been gradually doing a bit more and getting out. Been helping out with painting a mural under a grotty railway bridge and over the weekend went along to a local fete. All the best for your continued recovery.
Same to you , as an artist , often in public spaces , I'd love to see the finished mural when you've finished it.Hugs, Bee
Iโm so pleased to hear that youโre feeling more positive than you have in recent months Hrty - thatโs great news!!
I know it can feel frustrating when you feel like you were making headway and then something slams on the brakes of progress. Hopefully in another few months, your setback will be just a blip in your journey of success and youโll be able to reclaim more of your life back.
Keeping everything crossed for you! ๐ค๐ผ
Best wishes

That all sounds very positive, Hrty, and it's so good to read that you're feeling in a much better frame of mind. Good luck with the Cardiologist appointment next Monday, with a bit of luck you'll find out a bit more about what happened. I had a telephone appointment with the Cardiologist last Wednesday after my blip in November - and am now discharged again - YAY! ๐ I think these blips sometimes allow us to come back much stronger! ๐
