I was diagnosed with afib about 6 months ago. Now on Bisoprolol, Edoxaban and Lansoprazole, along with amlodopine which I have been taking for a number of years to treat high bp. Since taking the afib meds I have developed a wheezy cough. Is this usual with the meds or is it the afib causing the cough. I did mention the cough to a doctor several months ago, but he seemed unconcerned.
Bp and heart seem very well controlled with a 5 day bp of 110/65 and hr of between 50-55 at rest.

doctors should always check breathing problems, particularly if they persist - i suggest that you ask your GP for a Peak Flow reading (quick, basic lung finction test) at your next visit - it is possible to develop asthma due to poor air quality and this is easily diagnosed and treated (as i found a few years ago)
