My mum has been on this medication a few times before. It would be best to discuss the dosage with your pharmacist or GP to see if an increase would be suitable.

All the best.

Yes, she has unfortunately. But it is manageable, so I’m grateful for that. What about you? X

Maybe a good idea to speak to your doctor and ask for further investigations to be carried out x

6 capsules a day is the usual starting dose for 4-6 weeks then dropping to 4 caps a day maintainance.Personally I have been on this product for years as I believe it helps me.

I will often use steam inhalation to help me if things are getting worse, Be careful you don't scald yourself.

If it gets really bad I use my rescue meds and seek help.

I suggest you discuss with your doctors and get a plan.

Were you told to drop the dosage to 2 x 2 by a Doctor or nurse? If you weren't told to do so, it's a bad idea.

I dropped from 3 x 2 to 2 x 2 without advice because it was working so well - told my asthma nurse what I'd done, and she, quite rightly, gave me a good telling off. In not so few words she said I was prescribed 3 x 2 for a reason.

If 3 x 2 tabs a day was working before, overwhelming probability is that it will work again, don't you think? As others have said, get professional advice as appropriate.
