I applied twice and didn't get it so gave up 💔. With pip it's not just the condition itself it's how it affects you every day hope your successful with your claim x

Hello :-)

It is about how it affects your daily life so questions are for example how far can you walk , can you cook a meal , can you bathe on your own , do you need help to get dressed and so on

Some people are successful others are not but I always say worth applying as even if you did not get it you have lost nothing but there could be a chance you might that way you would have gained something

I would try applying and good luck and if you do let us know how you get on you could ask the Citizens Advice to help you with the forms they assist so many in these claims which sometimes with their help can be more successful :-) x

Hello :-)

If you say you can do things even though they make you tired the chances are you might not be awarded it you would have to say you struggling or can't do things but still worth maybe asking for advice from your Citizens Advice and see what they say :-) x

Hello,

I successfully applied for a PIP.

It's enhanced for both sections indefinitely.

There is an art to filling the form in. I suggest you get some help.

I used this organisation.

I live with vasospastic angina which means I also become very tired as I experience most of my angina at rest, especially during the night.

Good luck!

I agree with Milkfairy, there is definitely an art to filling in the form. I have to fill one in on behalf of my adult daughter who has a learning disability. Something to keep in mind is that you should describe your worst day. Don’t be tempted to say, “On a good day I can walk xx metres”, or “I can complete such and such a task when I’m feeling fine.”

If you’re refused PIP on the first application you should consider going through the appeals procedure as a significant number of decisions are overturned at that stage.
