Might be worth a call to your GP.I was on 2.5mg Biprosolol, now down to 1.25mg, no side effects like that... just lethargic, short of breath, cold feet.

I presume they've checked him out for the cause of his HA...

This shouldn't happen with Bisoprolol. Do get advice from your GP

I agree. My husband has never had any of these side affects with Bisoprolol. He does get very tired but otherwise tolerates this well.

Hi like ‘Gribbin’ I have been on 1.25mg bisoprolol (along with other medication), but no bad side effects - definitely not anything like you describe.

I agree with Gribbin's comment, I take 5 mg Bisoprolol with no side effects of that nature.

Hi Black1938 I am on 2.5 bisoprol and didn't feel those symptoms.maybe slightly tired and cold feet. Nothing of that nature. In doubts please contact your GP and get some medical advice

Hi I never had the side effects you mention but the drug did not help my Afib and my condition symptoms became more unstable. Eventually cardiologist indentured a drug that has stabilised my heart. Sorry I cannot help you more. Always talk to GP or Cardiologist. Hope all work out soon. Regards.

I have not had any side effects similar to your husband. The only thing I have had to look out for is that bisoprolol reduces my blood pressure, sometimes to worrying levels eg.86/42

hi. Are you sure it’s the bisoprolol? I contracted cdiff from the antibiotics I was given for sepsis. I think if he has cdiff though, he would know about it, it’s horrendous. I’m on 10mg of bisoprolol and haven’t had side effects other than fatigue. I hope you find out what’s causing it soon.

Not what you're looking for?
