Today I was allowed to speak and listen to a Dr for longer than the usual 30 sec’s because they r so busy.
He explained that yes they r happy with how I’m improving but its mainly down to what they r doing now and does not make it any easier with regards to the procedure they will go down. I was in heart failure when I came in.
I have said I cannot believe how I’m breathing since I stopped smoking and from using my nebuliser up 25 times per day to using it once a day here. As said my oxygen sats have gone from 90-92% up to 96-98% which is almost normal. They will now speak together with the tavi drs and try to come to some sort of decision. He says they have no problems with fixing the valve at all it’s what happens afterwards that they r concerned with.
I knew I was lulling myself into a false sense of security.

Yes it is but they r saying my breathing is improving because of what they r doing. Meetings later apparently. You may not agree with this, but I’m the type of person who will hear 100 positives and 1 negative and I will latch solely onto the negative only, so I am now going to change my thought process, instead of lulling myself into a false sense of security I am going down the route of “ they cannot help me” !! By doing this the only things I can latch onto would be positives- I hope
It makes sense why you think like that I'm the same I latch on to the one negative thing I hear at hospital appointment and I fixate on it for ages until I understand what it means x so I get it.
hi. Hope you have had a better day. I totally understand about seeing the negative but if they are considering how to make your recovery as easy as possible then that’s a good thing. Pleased that your breathing is much better, you must feel so relieved.
