we’ll it’s gonna happen whether I like it or not. My final breathing tests are this afternoon and they will have a major impact on what they do, although I thought he said tavi is off the table. Not sure.
Another positive for them will be the fact I’m now walking over 200 yds instead of the original 5 ft. COPD still unbelievable compared to what it was.
How do I feel, calmish, but the anxiety will begging to rise

Try not to worry. I had issues with long term Type I Diabetes and PAD. but my surgeon told me not to worry as he would deal with any issues and he did as I came round with just the heart monitor pads, drains and pacing wires (not connected). You obviousl;y have a device with you there. DO NOT USE DR GOOGLE!
Just seen the the people that knock you out, (can’t spell it) she’s had a long chat, said when I came in I would not have survived the op, but today she said I hear no crackling from your throat, the COPD. Compared to when I was bought in the COPD has all but vanished, from using the nebuliser 20+ times per day and on it at 40 mins on morning wake I am using about once per day. I am in my 5 th week of no smoking and that’s what’s done it.
Her last words where, we are not worried at all about fixing the valve, we will do, their concerns are the aftermath and how long I might be on a ventilator
That's good news, it's always good when the anaesthetist is happy 😊 You won't be aware of being on the ventilator, that was one of my biggest fears, but the anaesthetist said all would be fine, I trusted him, and it was.
Great news hopefully you will finally get this operation and be on the mend. Let’s hope you will be home with your family soon and out of that hospital. Good luck
