I'm going abroad (to Germany) for the first time since having my ILR fitted.
Does anyone know, are you supposed to take the bedside monitor with you when you go abroad? Will it even work? Or do you leave it at home and just accept that you won't be uploading any readings for the time you are away?
Thanks.

Hi GCWhits, I had a loop recorder fitted just over a year and have travelled quite extensively abroad since then. You should be able to take the bedside monitor with you as readings are uploaded every evening across the internet provided you are logged onto Wi-Fi. Best of luck!
That’s what I’ve been told with mine. You may be asked to do a manual reading on your return. Taking the monitor would add to your luggage allowance, it’s not worth it. I was recently in hospital for 10 days and all was fine.
