Could you be dehydrated? Which in turn affects BP, dizzyness etc. Maybe worth your while speaking to a Dr or going to the hospital just to get checked out, sorry I don't know how the emergency services work out there. If you're staying in a hotel you could ask reception to find you a Dr.

I would suggest you phone nhs111 for advice, it might be just a bit of low blood pressure but they'll probably want you to get checked out. Good luck 🤞 hope you're feeling better soon, please let us know

As Lezzers has suggested, it is safer to make contact with a doctor there. I assume you already have travel insurance cover so hopefully, your policy should cover you. Of course, there could be other explanations such as the weather but given your heart history, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Let us know how you get on.

Thank you, yes I have full travel insurance with All Clear, I am drinking lots of water, if it doesn't pass I will definitely call the doctor.

Drink Aquarius it is a blue drink which has electrolytes in, all the Spanish drink it in summer. I dilute it down as I am not keen on the taste. If you are dehydrated it will really help

This is what to look for

If you ask most bars sell it, but all supermarkets stock it, the supermarkets usually have their own brand next to it. The own brand is just as good

Thank you so much , you have been very helpful, I got antihistamine at the pharmacy, which has helped greatly as I had hay fever also

Hello. I had an attack of dizziness, with cold, clammy sweat. I did not call emergency services at the time. When I spoke to my GP, he told me that these two symptoms can be signs of a heart attack and that I should have called for an ambulance, immediately (whilst actually experiencing these). He said that, if you wait until the symptoms subside, clinicians will not be able to determine whether you’ve had a minor heart attack. In my case, my cardiologist said it was dehydration and insufficient quantities of salt in my diet.

Thank you, for your reply, I was initially concerned, but I also have hay fever, so wasn't sure what to do. I drank lots of water as suggested and symptoms improved, I am now taking antihistamines. I feel better, but you were very helpful. Pinkfemme

I won't be staying away from Spain, I will take care and get help if needed. I am feeling much better since taking antihistamines.
