My Primary care sent me to a cardioligist that doe legs and heart, all in one. I went because my legs have been hurting never expecting any issues with CAD. They ran a CT audigram on me and to my surprise want to do a left heart catheterization! They were trying to scheduling but told them would like to speak to cardiologist first to see what they found! He said it showed 75% LAD Blockage, 99% Right cardiac and 90 percent in left circumflex back. Well, I am totally freaked out and scheduled for the left heart catheterization on the 21st of June. What does this all mean. Nervous about procedure for stents (I think that's what he will do) and such. Anyone else been in this situation, what did they do and how do you feel. Thanks for any info...

No personal knowledge on this BUT can’t help but comment on how wonderful it is that it has been discovered at this stage. Don’t be freaked out-see it as amazingly good fortune.
Well done you and your Dr for getting your leg pain checked properly.
I had cardiac catherisation to check if my hole in my atrial septum could be repaired. That was done under local, then the repair was done under GA still via the same way but through my groin instead of my wrist. I watched this before I had mines I knew what to expect. youtube.com/watch?v=_aSt69z... I also watched the screens beside me so I could see what the doctors were seeing! Good luck
OH I was allowed to watch that, no problem and a bladder camera and one through my nose. Just not the heart. I can understand that if he didn't know what he was going to find but not the second one. Must be down to the doctor doing it.
Fantastic to hear this - brilliant - I had a HA Jan 2022 and after procedure (no stents just ballooned) came out and just felt amazing - just need this damned AFib sorting and I’ll be back on track
Two angiograms and two stents following a heart attack. Absolutely no problems except with the meds I was given afterwards, all of which had to be changed because of bad side effects. First angiogram my arm bruised black from elbow to wrist because someone loosened the pressure bandage too early but it didn't hurt and gradually faded. Second time I couldn't even see a pin prick mark where the catheter went in.. Both took about 40 minutes and I had sedation. My only complaints were that the lab where they did it was freezing cold and the table you lie on is very hard and hurt my back. ( I have spinal problems) and they wouldn't let me watch the monitors. Right after the heart attack I was obviously in hospital for a couple of days but the second time I went in at 8.30am and, after tea and toast, was home by 1.30pm.
