Today I have reached my 70th birthday 🥳

When I was diagnosed with a ILD about 7 years ago I was told things did not look good . My lungs were fibrotic. The consultant said I would have to rethink my life expectations and get used to limitations.

About 3 years ago came the nstemi and stent, followed a week later by a stemi. I don’t do things by half 🤣

So today I will have a slice of cake ( or two) with a couple of glasses of fizz. It was meant to be in the garden with friends and family, but I think we will need umbrellas ☔️. And tomorrow I will go back to eating as healthily as I can. I now play bowls to keep as active as I can without being too breathless.Thoroughly enjoy it.

Do I miss my old life, of course I do, but you know what,I enjoy and treasure my current life and friends. I don’t post much but always start my day reading these posts. Cheers everyone and keep those jokes coming, they start my day with a smile 🤣😘
