Hi, had two stents inserted October 2021, fortunately found I had CAD before anything major happened. As part of the drug therapy I was put on to manage the CAD, I was put on Bisoporol but only 1.25mg due to the fact that I had a low resting heart rate without.
In the last few weeks, my Apple Watch has alerted me a few times to my heart rate dropping below 40 and in fact yesterday it actually to dropped to 37. Has anyone else experienced this whilst on Bisoporol or similar? Wondering if to talk to my GP or Cardiologist about dropping the Bisoporol.

That’s a low heart rate, have you taken your pulse manually? When my heart rate is in the 30s I feel terrible, and I’m waiting for a pacemaker to be fitted.
I think you should definitely talk to GP or Cardiologist.
Not taken it manually, but taken it with an Oximeter which is pretty much in sync with the Apple Watch readings. As stated above I have a naturally low resting heart rate, and have not felt rough with it, would not have known if it was not for the Apple Watch. I have a feeling it is the bisoperol, although I am on such a low dose.
I too was put on 1.25mg of Bisoprolol after my nstemi back in November. My resting heart rate dropped into the low 30s and I was shattered all the time. Gave it a few months but in the end it was stopped by my cardiologist a couple of months ago. After a few weeks of withdrawal my HR is back to more normal levels of around 50 and I have loads more oomph.
