Hello when I was on 10mg my rate fell to 33 BPM and consultant said he thought I was a tad over beta blocked, so reduced back to 7.5mg and all has been fine ever since ! Just checked manual and it is 60 5min later it's 68 so Heart Rate is variable between the 60 and 68 all I was doing was just just sat in the chair. I believe this is considered to be within a normal range and being kept in check by the Bisoprolol

Regards

be careful with the watches, I got hooked on looking at mine then realised it only read correctly when I carried out the ecg function. I also take bisoprolol and had the watch (the watch no more it's in a draw). All the best.

Hi I take 7.5 bisoprol after being on nevivol for 4 years. This dosage and change of tablets works well for me and I have no problems. My heart rate can drop to 48 when sitting in the evening and my cardiologist says its nothing to be concerned about. Put it down to relaxing I do.

When I was put on 10mg bisoprolol, my heart rate also dropped to the 40s, However, My body got used to the drug and my heart rate now averages 60 to 70. I still get very tired at times, but as I am on several meds, I think it is to be expected.

I was on 12.5mg Bisoprolol for a short while a couple of years ago. It made me extremely tired, I felt as though I was walking through treacle. 10mg is a pretty big dose. I don’t think 48bpm is anything to worry about but I’m surprised your heart rate can reach 120bpm. It maybe that your equipment is reading it wrongly or it maybe that you need to contact your cardiologist again for a different drug. Like I said, Bisoprolol flattened me energywise. Good luck.

Go in to your watch settings and reduce the alarm to 40bpm as 48bpm on 10mg bisoprolol is not really low. The 120bpm could well be SVT or a similar fairly benign cause. If it was just a once or twice off event I wouldent worry about it to be honest. If in doubt ring your GP.
