I just started taking the middle dose of Entresto last week. So far so good. I’ve seen several posts regarding an increase potassium levels. My question is have most of you who take Entresto seen a significant rise? Cheers!

Potassium levels
Dear am1875
A warm welcome to you and your first post.
I am on the high dose and have been for a while, to date I have only had a very slight increase in my potassium levels. {over a year}
I think that its something that they monitor, unfortunately Entresto has not shown to be doing much with me, but others have had a high success level.
Take care
Thank you for your reply. How long should it take to know if it’s working? And is EF the only criteria that it is working? All the best!
I believe that is its main function { EF improvement } unknown how long it takes to works it appears progressive .
Take care
Hi. May be interested in this. Google: Entresto in HF Tied to Less Kidney Decline Cheers
Entresto is certainly a powerful med and can knock you 'off' some days. Yes it improves ef rate or heart function. I think for many it improves quality of life. Personally within a week my situation improved some. I felt my hands warm up (improved circulation) and other symptoms of heart failure start to get better. It has taken time but its still a rough ride many days. I get regular blood tests i think every 6 months. Potassium is one thing they check for.
