BNP Blood Test

Hi all, I recently had a blood test at my local Hospital, just seen the results and one of my readings shows my BNP range is 309, my doctor has called and wants to see me tommorow. any comments please

390 is slightly elevated but nothing concerning. It can be due to a number of reasons including an infection, I'm guessing the GP will just go through some questions to see if you're having any problems & do the usual blood pressure, HR checks.

Normal levels are below 100pg/mL... they may want to repeat the test to ensure it's accurate or follow up with more tests.

I'm the same but my numbers were higher than yours still waiting to have an echocardiogram done from last November

Thank you all for your time and comments, just seen GP today said that after yesterdays blood test it also shows I am Anemic . Waiting for an appointment to see a Heart specialist.
