hello,

I am currently being investigated for heart failure. My bnp test result has just come back as 8pg/ml. It says ‘normal’ but looking online this seems very low? I’m on a beta blocker but only a low dose

has anybody else got a low reading?

Hi, maybe contact the BHF nurse to run it by them for context ? I’m sure they would know 👍🏻

thank you, I did not realise you could do this (I am new to heart problems 😔). I have called them and they said this is normal, thanks for your advice!

Fantastic! Peace of mind 👊🏻❤️

Mine is 778 which is obviously not normal if that’s any help, I do have dilated cardiomyopathy Anything under 100 is supposed to be normal. X
