I had a triple bypass in 2011 lately I’ve had a severe pain behind my left rib at back I’ve been at doctors twice in 4 weeks blood pressure is really high told to buy monitor and check morning and night , I’ve been feeling nauseous and los of appetite doctor said could be side effect of centreline I’ve started a few weeks ago told it will pas in six weeks, on Good Friday I received a positive bowel screening test and have really bad anxiety now as wondering if it’s all related

I’m a terrible worrier about my health I don’t trust my doctors as I was taken to hospital 5 times in 3 weeks before my bypass and they said I was just an anxious person

They said the same with me when I went to A&E with palpitations which worried me as I immediately got the worst thing in my head about it. They said that it was just down to stress and anxiety. I asked them to do a chest X ray and they said that I had to go back to my GP and get him to refer me for one. I was also a bit short of breath when I went to see them. I asked them to keep me in for observation but all they did was sent me home (as they said it wasn't an emergency with all my obs coming back normal), told me to take painkillers if I needed them, drink plenty of water as I was dehydrated & to just relax as much as I could. Going to go to the walk in centre in my local town on Tuesday as hopefully they might be able to give me more advice.
