Hey Everyone

3 weeks ago today, I felt a bit off, had what I thought was ingestion, and was a bit breathless I used my GTN spray and took some gaviscon, and used my inhaler, nothing worked but I still dismissed it

I decided to go onto the NHS website and they said a nurse would call me back. If it wasn't for her nurse calling an ambulance and the 2 paramedics I don't know if I'd be here

I've always been thankful to the NHS but this just means everything to me.

It's been a crazy few weeks having the Cardic Arrest, a stent fitted then getting pneumonia. The bruise from the CPR is beginning to fade and I'm looking after myself and eating very healthy enjoying every minute of being spoilt because I'm grateful I'm still here

a lot of people have a lot of negative things to say about the nhs. I actually got turned away from a&e on the 2nd of October last year before I was diagnosed with severe heart failure and cardiomyopathy 2 days later. They may be under immense pressures, bulging at the seems but once you are in, the care we receive is incredible!! I also have many thanks for the nhs!

also my experience was way less traumatic than what you have been through so I can only imagine how greatfull you must be feeling!!

I'm very lucky to have some very good friends and family (well Mum) who got me through this, and of course you lot, making me smile every day 🥰

What a lovely post. I too am thankful to the nhs for all they have done for me and my family. They are exceptional and there has been once when l was completely in their hands. I hope for you now it is onwards and upwards and, in time, you can put most of the trauma behind you. The best is yet to come. I am going somewhere like yourself tomorrow so l will give you a mention and your mum. Take care.

I'm not sure if I'm going tomorrow, Mum will be. I might just rest

Yes, it is early days for you and you are doing great. It’s better to rest and get well than push yourself and make your recovery protracted. Very sensible of you to listen to what your body tells you. Enjoy your Easter egg and get well soon. X

You’ve been through so much and at a very young age for a cardiac emergency too . I’m glad you are recovering with your mum looking after you , our mums are amazing and look after us whatever age we are . The NHS are amazing and I can’t thank them enough . From my gp who called the ambulance , the two very kind and calm paramedics who got me to hospital at top speed on blue lights and sirens , the wonderful team of drs in a&e, the team of cardiologists and the lovely nurses on coronary care all played a part in saving my life when I was taken seriously unwell with a heart infection on Christmas Eve 2020. Without them I probably wouldn’t be here as I was getting close to cardiac arrest stage . Happy Easter and enjoy your Easter eggs xx

Hi V. You've let people know how important it is to get checked out even if you think it's indigestion. I lost my Mum 37 years ago to a cardiac arrest. Her doctor recommended Rennies for indigestion!!!! If only ...........

Take good care of yourself and we all are really glad you're still here. Lots of love and hugs. Jan xxxxx
