Two aerials met each other on a roof, they fell in love and decided to get married.

The ceremony wasn't up to much, but the reception was bloody excellent

Have you seen this morning's post, I've got pneumonia. Being treated in hospital because in weird with antibiotics

I'm doing okay bored, fed up and feeling sorry for myself

No I have not seen that post not been on till recently and just read the first few

I am sorry though you certainly are going through it but if it makes you feel any better it could be worse

About 4 years ago I got pneumonia the Doctor kept saying I had a virus cutting a long story short after 2 weeks I was rushed into resuitation they were working on me for 6 hours and told my Husband it was touch and go and they nearly put me in a coma but luckily I managed to escape that but was in intensive care for a week now if they had caught it like they caught yours quick I could have been bored in a bed having the antibiotics dripped in me

I know it is not nice for you but think you are like a cat with 9 lives and they always catch you or you get there in time without it resulting in something so much worse

Once those antibiotics start getting in you you will feel so much better and then you really can start this recovery

How long before they say you can escape again x

They've not said, I'm hoping once I start responding to the antibiotics.

Mum was here for a couple of hours but I slept most of it, she's been kept busy today anyway thankfully, no doubt she'll be fussing over me tomorrow.

Ask them when they come round because for me ending up in Intensive care I was on all this macheirary and stuff and then when I did get on a ward I was still getting antibiotics through a drip and maks to help me breath

I think they will put you on this course of antibiotics keep taking your oxygen , how is that doing ?

Then when they have done that they should take you for an xray to check your lungs are clear or looking better because they can send you home with normal antibiotics then if still needed so lets hope you could be out for the weekend

Well Mum will be back tomorrow less busy and more fussy x

Oxygen isn't great,

I'm on a normal ward but oxygen mask and IV drip. I've been so sleepy today. I will try to remember to ask when I next see them.

Have they gone through any breathing exercises yet ?

Make sure when they tell you to do them yu do they are important

It will come up so don't worry before they do it try and take some deep breaths the best you can

Yes tell them the service is poor , the beds are hard and food has room for improvement so when can you get out

You will soon be home again you may not feel it but you are doing really well x

A friend had been and brought some naughty food round so I'll be okay food wise, and I don't know what's in this antibiotic but it's making me really sleepy

Mum's text me about a billion times in the last hour so she's okay 😅

They are very similar to the heart ones they get us to do but don't do them till they tell you to but someone should come round and talk to you about it

Naughty food I wonder what that is you have got

Just a billion still time for more and could be helping to make you tired keep replying

I know you say you are tired but remember what your body has gone through just over a week a heart attack and stent and now it is fighting pneumonia there is no wonder you are tired and as my Grandma used to say

Sleep yourself better

So you keep sleeping it is your body healing from all the trauma it has been through x

hi. I used to be a hedgehog foster mother and love them to bits but they really do stink, much more than you imagine, so I gave it up. They are very cute creatures but they need to work on their personal hygiene 😹x

I 'only' had pleurisy, borderline pneumonia, and was practically coughing my lungs up. The course they sent me on was only held a few times a year and I needed it to do my new job. In the perfect World I would have stayed off work certainly for a couple more weeks to recuperate. On the positive side I lost a stone and a half in about 10 days.

To be fair the rest of the course were pretty understanding but I was getting on my own nerves.
