My Cardiologist wants me to increase Candesartan from 16mg to 32mg, the Gp surgery want reduce Edoxaban from 60 mg to 30mg, one by short letter, one by short telephone call, no face to face, no blood tests. Anyone else had this, why is the Edoxaban suddenly being reduced after several years, and the Candesartan being increased after several years, course you can’t get through to speak to anyone.
I am worried about this.

Not a doctor... I can't imagine a blood test being needed for blood pressure tablets, have you had blood pressure taken or submitted your own recently?
For the edoxaban, it was maybe just time to start tapering down?
These are obviously just guesses - you will need to make an appointment with the GP to understand your situation.
Many thanks for the reply, see my Gp, I haven’t seen her for three years, actually wonder if she’s still at the surgery. I can see I will have to pay out to see the Cardiologist privately, I feel like piggy in the middle.
My cardiologist upped my candesartan to 32mg from 4mg.. My blood pressure is now down where it should be and heart rate lowered to around 60bpm, so I am happy.
