swollen wrists

I’m currently on holiday in the cannery island since being here when going out walking noticed my wrist band is going tight I suffer from micro vascular angina and was just wondering if anyone else had anything similar or is it just down to the heat as I have never had this before many thanks in advance

It could be the flying or the change in climate or both.

many thanks for that was slightly worried as it’s not something I had before and do travel abroad on a regular basis, but suppose body reacts in different ways many thanks 🙏

Hi Gasp1, I too suffer from microvascular angina. Last year I suffered terribly with swollen feet and hands, especially when I'd flown to Athens on a business trip and my feet were so swollen I couldn't get my safety boots on. My fingers looked like fat Sausages. I put it down to flying and the heat but I started getting it when I woke in the morning and when it wasn't so warm. I contacted my cardio team and had a n echo heart scan to make sure there wasn't any muscle damage that could have been causing it and was told it was a common side effect of Felodipine. My dose was reduced from 10mg to 5mg a day and the issue went away. Its worth just getting it checked out.
